HighlyStrung perform a unique blend of contemporary, jazz, celtic and world music.

Our lead vocalist Rachel plays the violin and keyboard. Having played & performed since she began violin lessons at age 5, she now holds a Bachelor with Honours in Music and has toured with groups overseas. Rachel has performed in a wide variety of shows, including the Logies with pop singer Anastacia. She is an accomplished performer and teacher, and you will love her sultry, unique voice.

Our lead guitarist Brett has been performing many years, playing acoustic and electric guitar. Brett also plays the mandolin, and sings lead and backing vocals, adding to our versatility. He is an accomplished and devoted musician, teacher and composer, and his guitar playing will set the perfect mood for your event. Brett and Rachel began the Highly Strung duo in 2000- several months before they exchanged vows!
